Body Recording — What to Wear
Your body recording is a continuous guided video - not individual shots. Get dressed and set up your space before you hit record. You will not have time to change mid-recording.
Body Augmentation Selected
Since you are using Body Studio to customize your proportions, we need to see your natural body shape as accurately as possible. Sports bras and compression wear distort the baseline AccuBody uses to map your proportions.
- ✅Best: Soft cup bralette, unstructured bra, or fitted tank with no built-in support. Natural shape and position is what AccuBody needs.
- ✅Also good: Two-piece swimwear with a soft or triangle top - minimal structure.
- ❌Avoid: Sports bras, push-up bras, or underwire. These compress and lift, creating a false baseline that the augmentation sliders will work against.
- ❌Avoid: Baggy tops, hoodies, or anything that hides your torso shape entirely.
- 🎽Best options: Athletic leggings or bike shorts plus a fitted top, sports bra, or one-piece swimwear. Your body silhouette must be clearly readable throughout the full rotation.
- 👙Swimwear works great: One-piece or two-piece. Gives AccuBody the clearest possible silhouette for body mapping.
- 🎨Solid neutral colors only: Black, white, grey, or navy. No patterns, stripes, camo, or text. These confuse body boundary detection during frame extraction.
- ❌Avoid baggy clothing: Oversized tees, hoodies, or wide-leg pants hide your proportions entirely. AccuBody cannot map what it cannot see.
Space Setup
- 📏Distance: Camera should be 6-8 feet away. Your full body head to toe must be visible in frame before you start.
- 🔄Clear space: You will do a full 360 turn. Make sure you have enough room to rotate without hitting anything.
- 💡Lighting: Same rules as face recording. Face a light source. Avoid backlighting.
- 🧱Background: Plain wall preferred. Busy backgrounds make it harder to isolate your body silhouette.
Policy: Nudity is not accepted under any circumstances. Swimwear is the maximum acceptable coverage level. Submissions containing nudity will be flagged, rejected, and refunded.
